COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this fast-paced, quick turnaround business, the opportunity to explore and investigate a text and interact with another human being has become a lost art. The power of a high definition, 4K close up requires instantaneous and authentic reactions. Only interacting with a real person can help you achieve this. This class will keep you sharp, and challenge you to dig deep fast. It will prepare the actor for the heat of the on-set experience. Characters will be discovered from within, and will grow out of the relationships the actor develops with their partner and the text. Action will grow out of interaction rather than from an intellectual menu pro forma 19th and 20th century constructs.
There is no final taping for this class as the focus is on process.
