COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This class is for the actor who wishes to explore the world of voice performance. Emily Stranges is trained in the LB Approach and applies the studio's principles of authenticity, creativity, and spontaneity to voiceover work.
By exploring the mechanics of breath, tone, pace, and voice quality, Actors will develop tools that will enable them to perform a variety of characters using the voice. This course focuses on establishing the building blocks of voice animation and commercial work. This course will emphasize the process of developing a strong and versatile voice through scripts, vocal exercises and overall vocal health.
Who is EMILY STRANGES? Emily is an actor, film director, editor, and coach. Emily's onscreen credits include Pretty Hard Cases, The Dog Lover's Guide To Dating, Murdoch Mysteries, Reign, What We Do In the Shadows and more. Emily voices Athena Monde on the hit animated show Bakugan: Battle Planet. Emily's approach to voice over includes specificity, vocal awareness, and FUN!
