Coach: Asha Vijayasingham

Asha began training with Lewis Baumander nearly 20 years ago and with his invaluable guidance began a career as a professional actor. Now she is thrilled to be a coach at the LB Acting Studio. 

Select Film & TV credits include SurrealEstate, Nurses, Grand Army, American Gods, In Contempt, Workin’ Moms and Flashpoint.

Asha was a company member of The Stratford Festival. She also played Mrs. Chopra in the North American premiere of Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical in Toronto.

In addition to being an actor, Asha is a voice performer and singer. Her voice can be heard in numerous commercials, as well as Far Cry 4, Bitmoji TV and the radio drama Funny Boy directed by Deepa Mehta.
